Standard Mechanical Extensometer

The standard mechanical extensometer is designed to accurately measure elongation on specimens of steel, plastics and other rigid materials. It is ideal for static laboratory tests where a simple, direct and rugged mechanical device is required.

It offers a usable travel of 5 mm and can be applied at initial gauge lengths of 25 or 50 mm. Clamping to the specimen is quick, and the mechanical interface ensures stability even in the presence of small vibrations or shocks.

The extensometer is suitable for tests in accordance with international standards (UNI, ISO, ASTM), ensuring repeatable and reliable results in both industrial and academic settings. It can be integrated with Acquati instrumentation to automate data acquisition.
