Automatic evaluation of rub fastness
The motorized Crockmeter is designed to determine the colour fastness of materials subjected to mechanical rubbing. It reproduces in a controlled way the contact between the specimen and a white reference cloth, in order to evaluate colour transferability. It complies with the main international standards: ISO 105 X12, AATCC 8/165, BS 1006/D02, BS 4655, NEXT 6, M&S C8.
Automatic, repeatable operation
The motorized Crockmeter ensures regular, uniform movements, eliminating operator-related variables. You can set the number of cycles, speed and load, repeating the tests with high accuracy. The contact surface can be easily replaced, and post-test evaluation can be performed using grey scales type A 02 – A 03 (optional).

Compact, stable and easy to use, it is a benchmark instrument for textile laboratories, colour research centres and quality control in the fashion and furniture industries. Suitable for dyed, printed and pigmented fabrics, treated leather and plastic surfaces. Available with accessory kits for dry and wet tests.
