Compression Tester Touch – AG1000 + AG20000
Maximum sturdiness for intensive packaging tests
The Compression Tester Touch is designed to perform compression and flattening tests on bulky materials and rigid structures: drums, tanks, containers, pallets, corrugated pipes, cardboard and corrugated-plastic packaging. Thanks to its robust structure and the large platen area (up to 1200×1000 mm), it delivers reliable results even with off-center loads or non-uniform distributions. It complies with AFNOR, ASTM, DIN, EN, ISO, TAPPI, UNI and is suitable for R&D, inspection and quality control departments.
Comprehensive digital control and advanced test cycles
Equipped with a Touch Screen panel, membrane keyboard and dual backlit graphic displays, the system provides complete test management showing load, displacement, speed, test duration, load limits and stop thresholds in real time. Includes:
- Quick start and automatic switch to test speed
- Programming of compression, constant deformation, pre-load, cycles
- Internal memory for saving and viewing programs
- Dedicated keys for calibration, manual/automatic operation, safety stops
- RS232 or Ethernet connections with optional software for data handling, graphs and reports
Optimized, modular mechanical engineering
Structure with ribbed steel base, cast-iron platens with engraved centering seats, four precision ground hard-chrome columns and ball-screw drives; the Compression Tester ensures linear motion even with off-axis loads. The upper platen can be locked in the parallel position or left floating to compensate for load misalignment. The usable distance between platens ranges from 30 mm to 1200 mm, extendable to 2000 mm on request. The load cells cover ranges from 10 to 200 kN.
