The AG/7 electronic indentometer is a dedicated instrument for testing the load-bearing capacity and stiffness of expanded polyurethanes and cushioning materials such as seats, cushions, mattresses and technical coverings. Built for industrial and laboratory use, it guarantees high reliability with a robust frame, 850 mm stroke and interchangeable platens with customizable geometries.
Advanced Technology and Full Automation
The system includes a Touch-Screen panel, membrane keyboard and dual backlit display to show load, displacement, thickness and speed. It supports tests from 0.01 to 500 mm/min, automatic specimen-thickness reading and load-cell identification. The software enables:
- tension, compression, bending and hysteresis tests
- positive/negative cycling with zero crossing
- readings in Newton and kN/m
saving results in Excel format
Solid Frame and Extensive Customization
The indentometer features a cast-iron base and sliding crossheads on ground columns with recirculating ball screws. A wide range of modular accessories is available: benches, grips, fixtures for bending, peeling/adhesion, flexing, blister tests, plates and more. Climatic chambers for hot/cold testing are also available, together with custom programs.
