Pneumatic Strip Cutter for ECT
Parallel cutting compliant with ECT standards
The Acquati pneumatic cutter is designed to prepare corrugated board specimens for ECT (Edge Crush Test), according to internationally recognised standards. The system guarantees straight, parallel, square cuts, essential for test reliability. The included jig makes it easy to produce 100 × 400 mm strips.
Simple, precise pneumatic operation
The operator places the board against the rear stop and actuates the joystick control: the pneumatic carriage, equipped with two blades, advances along ground guides and simultaneously cuts both edges. The system includes a pressure gauge set to 6 bar, ensuring smooth, precise and repeatable cuts.
Compact build and complete equipment
The cutter features four adjustable feet for maximum stability during use. It accepts board up to 10 mm thick and produces specimens 25 mm wide. Supplied with 10 spare blades. Dimensions: 76.5 × 28.5 × 28.9 cm — Weight: 20 kg.
