Versatility for testing multiple materials and formats
The Acquati Mini-Press is designed to perform mechanical compression tests on a wide range of products: paper, cartons, vials, bottles and small jerrycans. It is suitable for standardised tests such as ECT (Edge Crush Test), RING, CMT, CLT, CCT, FCT, ensuring results compliant with international standards. Ideal for quality-control laboratories and R&D departments in the paper-converting and packaging sectors.
Robust structure and compact design
The machine consists of a cast base housing the gear motor and screw jack, with a ribbed moving crosshead and a 200×200 mm specimen table. Chromed and ground columns with bronze bushings ensure linear movements and stability during the test. The upper crosshead houses a strain-gauge load cell, paired with the lower platen for measuring loads up to 500 daN.
Touch screen and digital saving of tests
The touch-screen panel allows precise setting of test parameters (speed, limits, thresholds) and real-time display of results, expressed in N or kN/m. Test speed is adjustable from 0.1 to 50 mm/min, with fast approach and return at 50 mm/min. A USB 2.0 port is available for exporting data in Excel format, simplifying the archiving and sharing of results.
